A message from George Ihnat:

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine and Delta Kappa Gamma member, Cynthia Kramer, of the Alpha Phi chapter of Alpha Alpha state and I were discussing my designing charms. As a result of our discussions, I designed and had manufactured a society charm for her, and all who saw it admired it and some members purchased one for themselves. Thus the birth of a tasteful, handmade quality charm that in a daintly elegant manner denotes membership in the society. Furthermore, it is a beautiful piece of jewelry that can be worn anytime, anywhere proudly.

Through further discussions with Cindy and the state president I came to understand that fund raising projects are a necessity to fund activities. The state president then chose these charms as one of Alpha Alpha's fund raising projects.
